November 2023. The ‘Remembrance Experience for all’, a cycle of webinars developed to transfer the project’s contents to a wide audience, kick-off.
The first webinar of the cycle is entitled“Stolen Art. An itinerary dedicated to the goods and works of art stolen by the Nazi-Fascists from Jewish families”.
On 4 December, the speakers will be Patrizia Dragoni (University of Macerata) and Caterina Paparello (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice), editors of the book “L’arte indifesa: il destino di artisti e collezioni dopo l’emanazione delle leggi razziali” (Edifir, 2022). The following day, the researcher Chiara Pipino will talk about the papers of the EGELI Fund of the Bank of Turin in relation to the artistic heritage of the Jewish Communities in Piedmont. The conclusions are entrusted to Bianca Gaudenzi (German Historical Institute of Rome and University of Cambridge) who will deal with the topic of restitutions.
