January 2025. REMEMBR-HOUSE/CASE DI MEMORIA. An exhibition travelling around Europe is making a stop in Turin once again! It will be hosted at the State Archives, Sezione Corte (Piazzetta Mollino, 1), from January 14 to 27, 2025.
The exhibition is the result of the international contest launched in 2023—an interactive design experience aimed at young people and students, focusing on the memory of the Shoah. Historical records on the confiscation of Jewish homes after 1938 are preserved in the Historical Archive of the Compagnia di San Paolo, within the Egeli Management collection, managed by Fondazione 1563. Educational programs are curated by MEIS (National Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah).
Completing the exhibition are creative videos produced by students from the Animation course at the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Turin.
For the occasion, the State Archives of Turin has selected several important historical documents from the Danni di Guerra archival collection, linking the exhibition’s theme to the historical reality of the city of Turin.
Opening: January 14, 10:30 AM
Finissage: January 27, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, at 11:30 AM, with a guided tour.
